Military Symbols

Do these symbols look familiar to you? If you want to be a part of the fight in a deploying unit, these are some basic symbols you need to know when identifying units on a map. See if you know exactly what the symbols stand for.

  1. A white rectangle with a black border and three short parallel lines extending from the top border, perpendicular to it
  2. A white rectangle with a black border and a circular black dot in its center

  13. A white rectangle with a black border and a single black X above the top border
  14. A yellow quatrefoil  with a black border
  15. A white rectangle with a black border, a corner to corner X, an oval in the center and a wavy line along the bottom border.
