Marines have deployed to combat zones in Iraq and Afghanistan for nearly nine years. Sending a Corps of Marines whom are both effective and experienced at fighting unseen and unknown faces of terrorism has proven to be paramount in claiming victory in the battles that have passed.

    Just want to say, I have nothing but respect and pride for the Marines that came before me and respect and pride for the Marines that have come after me. I served the Corps back in 1966-1970. So I pray daily for the Marines today and there families. God Bless
